We have needed an open mic for the angsty ragers, the ones who need to be petty, and feel it to heal it. The ones who need to vent through poetry and song. Now we've got one. Spit your truth.

At Love & Anger, we welcome revolutionary pieces about love, community and also, hating your ex, or the president, or capitalism. We welcome pieces children should not hear. We welcome vulnerable pieces that you wouldn't or don't feel you can, spit anywhere else.

Most important:

We also welcome anonymous pieces that you'd rather not get on stage to spit yourself. You still want it to be heard for it could touch someone who needs it. The host or another poet in the room will read that piece for you. Just submit the piece before the show!

This is to stitch and mend our broken hearts because of how messed up the world is. Let's rage together instead.
